The IWB Basel Marathon will be held for the eighth time in a row on 24 September 2017 in Basel. This year too, the various courses will lead the runners past the most beautiful spots in Basel’s city center.

The organization, under the leadership of the association Basel Marathon and in co-operation with the IMG (Schweiz) AG, is already running on high tranches.

The start of the 10km run will take place at 9am at the market square. Beginning at 11 am, the Half- Marathon , as well as the team runners (Ekiden) will start on their 21km and 42km distances.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the journey to and from the course of the journey will be made more difficult or impossible. Likewise, due to the sound of music in the start or finish area, increased noise must be expected. The route crossings are regulated by security forces.
